Re: san info

hi,

the SAN HBA should be supported by the HP-UX,

Hitachi = HDLM

EMC = Powerpath

HP = SecurePath

HPUX 11.31 = have a new implementation of multipath software inside the OS.

Each vendor have ovn SW for multipathig.

Re: san info

Using ioscan -funC disk shows all the paths for all the disks. You can use sam to build vg and vgdisplay can show all the paths for each lv.

Re: san info

If you are using HP secure path

try

swlist |grep -i "secure" and look for secure path

secure path display

for emc
swlist |grep -i power and look for power path

powermt display dev=all

if using only hp alternate links
vgdiplay -v vg01 |grep -i "alternate links"
