sar command

Hi
when executing the command sar -A -f /tmp/ss7 > /tmp/ss7.txt &
i can get info on the processor and memories and IO utilisation in text file

but in order to understand these info , could we use any tool that will analyse these infos ?

Shalom,

The tool usually used to analyze sar output is the mind of a systems administrator.

You take these figures into account with what the system is doing and you make a judgment about further action.

You could post the data here to get opinions.

sar is the tool, the next step is to read the data. There is some nice summary data that makes that pretty straightforward.
