i get the following warning on my AS 2.1 servers.
#newaliases
Warning: .cf file is out of date: sendmail 8.12.11.20060308 supports version 10, .cf file is version 9
/etc/aliases.alcoa: 15 aliases, longest 40 bytes, 363 bytes total
/etc/aliases: 40 aliases, longest 10 bytes, 395 bytes total
/etc/aliases.local: 114 aliases, longest 35 bytes, 3472 bytes total
==
I use the following packages sendmail-cf-8.12.11-4.21AS.10 and sendmail-8.12.11-4.21AS.10.
The above warning sounds like i should havea more recent *.cf file which i guess would be available on a newer rpm.But unfortunatly i dont see any new version for sendmail-cf package.
Any advice

Solution
Probably, you updated your sendmail version, but you are still using a cf file from the previous version.
Sendmail cf files normally are generated by the using the macro file (sendmail-cf pacakge).
After the sendmail installation/upgrade, you should modify your mc file and create a new cf file:
m4 sendmail.mc > sendmail.cf

After the sendmail installation/upgrade, you should modify your mc file and create a new cf file:
m4 sendmail.mc > sendmail.cf
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
