setting autoboot on rp7405/rp7410

hello;

on a rp7410 in the config menu I could not locate anything to configure autoboot.

I looked through all the menu items, but could not find anything on setting autoboot.

Unless I've grossly overlooked it, how do you set 'autoboot on'

thanks much;

You can do it from the command line with the system up:

setboot -b on

Hi Ike,

It's as Pete states....BUT....aake sure the hardware paths for primary & alternate boot path are correct

setboot -p primary_hw_path
setboot -a alterbnate_hw_path

setboot alone will display all.

HTH,

Ike -

You can do the following to verify the contents of the Autoboot file:

#lifcp /dev/rdsk/cXtYdZ:AUTO /tmp/AUTO
#cat /tmp/AUTO (to see the contents)

OR

#lifcp /dev/rdsk/cXtYdZ:AUTO-
