I was trying to shutdown my hp server but ithung at the shutdown message of Stopping Instant Capacity. Any idea.

Navin,

you do not have iCOD license but software installed. If you still able to login to system then edit inittab and remove any entries for icod which you don't need it.

Once system is up then remove iCOD software.

What is that software.Does it come with FOundation OE

It is used to activate additional cpu's that are installed but not usable until a codeword is purchased
increased capacity on demand(??)
