smartmontools smartd.conf

Hi,
I am trying to get smartmontools to monitoring all my disks, I have 2 in the internal bays and 12 on the backplane both under the same controller.
This are partition as
/dev/cciss/c0d0px
and
/dev/cciss/c0d1px

smartctl detects all these disks and they can be addressed like so;
smartctl -a -d cciss,[0-13] /dev/cciss/c0d1

However in smartd.conf it fails to see any more than 2 physical disks using this type of addressing;
/dev/cciss/c0d1 -d cciss,2 -a -s (L/../../7/05|S/../.././05) -m root

Any suggestions on how to get smartd.conf to see more than the first 2 disks?

Thanks
T
