Re: snmp
Re: snmp
The file contains a lot of comments describing the correct syntax.
You'll want to add settings like:
get-community-name:
trap-dest:
MK

Re: snmp
Re: snmp
i modified the below in /etc/snmpd.conf
get-community-name MyString IP: 172.30.1.23
trap-dest: 172.30.1.23
then i restarted snmp service,
/sbin/init.d/SnmpMaster stop
/sbin/init.d/SnmpMaster start
, but when i am trying to test the connectivity with the new string it failed.
i am testing using SNMP tester.
thanks

Re: snmp
For more details about including community name/IP in snmpd.conf, Refer

Hope this helps.
