some of the process not killed

I am runnig apache in linux(RHEL) box,

when ever we log in to the perticular web page it will create a process and once you logout the process will be killed.

But in one server the process are not killig.

any one know this issue?

Is it because of some system parameter or apache parameter ?

Can any help me on this .........

Maybe there the KeepAlive parameter is enabled in the apache configuration file.

Is the request serving some sort of dynamic content such as a CGI or a PHP routine?

If so, it's possible it's run away.
