ssh tunneling / port forwarding

Hello All,

I have an application that requires the use of a telnet-based client for application administration. My preference is, of course, to use ssh, but the application's client software only works with telnet. I would like to set up an SSH tunnel or port forwarding that would encrypt any telnet traffic. I've played around with the SSL command to get it to work, but it's not quite there. What would be the easiest way to set that up? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Shalom,

telnet itself can be encrypted.
