for increasing shmmax value ,, what are all the procedures and steps needed to be followed...

Hi Madhudeepan,

It is a dynamic parameter, can be changed without a reboot.

kctune shmmax=
OR
sam -> kernel config --> Tunables --> shhmax --> Modify --> new value

Hi,

It is dynamic parameter so, you can do it without rebbot the server

#/usr/sbin/kctune shmmax=

or from sam you can configure this value
