I'm facing a problem related to stm.
Whenever I'm running the command "map" at the 'cstm>' prompt, it diaplays the following error.
cstm>map
* * * N O C U R R E N T S Y S T E M * * *
Thanks!

Re: stm not functioning.
Just try to stop and start the diags again.
# /sbin/init.d/diagnostics stop
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: stm not functioning.
Thanks for the replies,
I've restarted 'diagnostic' and was able to run 'map' successfully, but when I tried to select a device, I could not do that.
It has come to the cstm prompt suddenly after that.Any suggestions?

Re: stm not functioning.
How do you select the device?
Just to check this: Does your name resolution work correctly?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: stm not functioning.
The daemon '/usr/sbin/stm/uut/bin/sys/diagmond'
is getting started whenever I restart diagnostic, but disappear after a while.
The name resolution works normally.
thanks!

Re: stm not functioning.
The issue was that, the 'nfiles' parameter had overflown. A reboot did fix the issue.
Thanks for all the help!
cheers,
Pradeesh kumar.
