sudo defaults do not appear to work (Sudo version 1.7.1)

Hello,

I have defined some "Defaults" in sudoers:

# grep timeout /opt/iexpress/sudo/etc/sudoers
Defaults passwd_timeout=30
Defaults timestamp_timeout=30

However, they do not appear to be taking effect :

# sudo -V|grep -e version -e timeout
Sudo version 1.7.1
Authentication timestamp timeout: 5 minutes
Password prompt timeout: 5 minutes
#

Any advice appreciated, thanks

Ah, seems I need to do sudo -l as a none root user:

$ sudo -l
Matching Defaults entries for user on this host:
passwd_timeout=30
