swinstall error failed Disk Space Analysis for PHSS_35385 linker patch

Hi All,

I am unable to Install the Patch PHSS_35385 or PHSS_38154 failed Disk Space Analysis
(s700_800 11.11 ld(1) and linker tools cumulative patch)

Both above Patches Require the Dependence patches PHKL_29243 s700_800 11.11 vPar enablement, cumulative patch

I notice that your log says it is dependent on

NOTE: The software "PHSS_35385,r=1.0,a=HP-UX_B.11.11_32/64,v=HP" was
successfully marked, but it depends on the following software
items which could not be found in the source. However, these
items may already be in the target. This will be checked
during the Analysis Phase:
PHKL_29243.CORE2-KRN,fa=HP-UX_B.11.11_32 |
PHKL_29243.CORE2-KRN,fa=HP-UX_B.11.11_64

Please check the log.

Hi Johnson,

Dependency must be installed. You have a option(enforce_dependency=false) to bypass dependencies but it is not advisable.

System or application will not behave as we expected if we ignore dependencies.

It just fails on that dependency, that is a bogus message

Do you have vPars?, if not, you probably can ignore it and schedule the patch for later.

That's a good question. Have you tried "-x enforce_dsa=false"?
