syslog.conf

A vendor wants to receive syslog information from one of our HPUX 11.23 servers. He had me add a line to syslog.conf:
*.info @172.26.6.303
(The fields were separated by tabs as required.) Is specification of an IP address like this acceptable, or is a hostname required like I have seen in all of the examples?

The IP address should be fine.
