Getting the following entry on several of my HPUX v3 servers:
cimservera[29591]: [No account present for user] Password not valid
Is this using the cimsrvr account? I have that account on the server but it has never been logged in.
It appears everything is working with WBEM. Successfully sent a test alert that bounced off HP backend.

Thanks, Patrick. That seems to have did the trick. I commented out the two existing entries and added the third:
#OTHER auth sufficient libpam_krb5.so.1
#OTHER auth required libpam_unix.so.1 try_first_pass
OTHER auth required libpam_unix.so.1
