system crash diagnostic tools

There is a rp5470 with3 lan (lan0, lan1,lan2).Whenever I connect both lan2 and lan1 to network, each of these lans can work separately. System detects a fault in system and server will be rebooted. Also system creates a dump file. Are there any diagnostic tools that it can help me to find the root of problem? Please Advice.

Shalom Hasan,

What you do is set /etc/rc.config.d/savecrash to save crashes(first variable in the file set to 1).

Then you do q4 analysis on the crash.

Then you provide the q4 to process the log.

Then you send the results to hp and they tell you what patch to install.

Hopefully your three lan cards are on different networks, because if any two are on the same network, that can be the cause of the crash.

Q4 and P4 are the tools to be used for diagnosing the crash. Not sure if they are available publicly.
