On my 11iv1 servers I do not see this param. In the tuning and performance book by sauers, ruemmler and weygant on pages 350-352 it states it is avail., but when I run ndd it errors out.
Please help! thx!

SolutionThat parameter is under sockets, not tcp.
ndd -get /dev/sockets socket_caching_tcp
or
ndd -get /dev/sockets tcp_conn_strategy
