transfer lun mount point to another HPUX server

Hi,

 

I have 2 HPUX server and currently we have problem on disk space. we have one mount point in one of the server which is less use. How do i map this mount point to another server or transfer the mount point to the another server permenantly.

 

this mount point is in from SAN storage

assuming both systems can see the disks on the san. export the volume group on your original server. then present the luns to the new server, do a ioscan to see the disks and then import the volume group.. whenyou export the volume group you can create a map file which makes sure youmimport the correct disks
