tru64 recovery
Hello all
I am new to tru 64. I am using tru64 with version 5.1 B
uname -a
OSF1 tru-cd-dev2.tru.com V5.1 2650 alpha
I have setup an RIS server and added a client to the same . I need to create profile sets in the /var/adm/ris/clients/sets in the RIS server.
I have done the same by copying install.cdf and config.cdf from the client to the RIS server.
The location of the install.cdf and config.cdf files on the client are in /var/adm/smlogs
I copied these files to the RIS server in the following location /var/adm/ris/clients/sets/profileset where profileset is the name of the profile set directory.
Now my requirement is to keep an Operating system image of all clients on the RIS server and when any client crashes , use this image from the RIS server to recover .
Please let me know what other files I require for doing this and step by step process and procedures to accomplish the same.
Thanks
