Anyone of you who already executed tuneserver to implement the suggested kernel tunable settings ?
What was your experience ?
- you effectively see a positive effect ?
- Didn't you see anything, but since it didn't seem to hurt either, you left it in place ?
- Or did you see a negative effect in any way that caused you to back-out of the changes ?

Re: tuneserver tool
I have used it in some pre-production bea weblogic servers, but found out it went way over the top with some kernel paramaters for the size/usage the servers where getting, bumping up the parameters uses more kernel memory, wich in my case was a scarce resource.
But as a general aproach, looks like it does a good job, if you don't have the time to fine tune your server

Solution
Hi,
I have found it as a useless tool.
I have run the utility in number of servers with different configuration and with different load.
But the output is giving same for all the scenario.
Looking like everything decided already irrespective of server usage, configuration and load.
