tztab for Egypt
Select continent (Africa).
select timezone (Egypt).
Now:
TZ = CAT-2
The problem is that there is no entry for CAT-2 in tztab.
How can I add to tztab and How to modify later if needed?

Re: tztab for Egypt
CAT-2 means GMT-2 with no additional adjusting due to DST.
You can always create your own entry in tztab defining the time boundaries as per some previous threads. Future patches could override that setting, or simply define a different TZ code for the same purpose.

Re: tztab for Egypt
Right. It would only be needed for documentation purposes.
>Robert-Jan's link above mentions something about DST? This would require tztab changes.
