I want to know in detail the steps for the work update

Its better you do a cold install of the 11v2 and prefer the same over upgrade.

I have tried a number of upgade-ux upgrades in the lab. With very simple systems the success rate has hovered below 50%
The best upgrade path is a cold install of HP-UX 11.23 followed by re-installation of relevant applications.
upgrade-ux is a boot option from the Core OS DVD. Its all menu driven if you want to risk it.
