Hi (again) Darren:

Adding 'largefiles' to '/etc/fstab' is unnecessary. See my earlier comments. You can add the attribute as you showed if you want the documentation and mount enforcement:

/dev/vg00/var vxfs rw,suid,largefiles,delaylog,datainlog 0 2

If it's not going to have any adverse effects, I'm going update the fstab to :

/dev/vg00/lvol8 /var vxfs rw,suid,largefiles,delaylog,detainlog 0 2

for my own documentation; so I know it has largefiles enbabled... because god knows I won't remember! LOL
