/var - ignite

Hi,
My /var was getting filled. I tried tracing the consumption and found some "gzip" files under "/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/mpa/" by name "YYYY.MM.DD.HH.MM". Does anyone know what they might be and can I delete them?

Hi,
This is an ignite recovery archive for system mpa
mpa is the local system where you are facing /var file system disk space crunch ?
If you do not need this archive for system recovey , this can be deleted
