Hi

I have checked the /etc/export it is containing the following line.so can you please explain what is the use of it.

/var/opt/ignite/clients -anon=2

I expect this is an Ignite server and the exports entry allows the clients access so they can load their Ignite image.

anonymous requests are severed with uid 2.

Bonjour,

That means that Ignite is installed on your server. It is used by ignite clients to store some configuration informations during image creation or restoration.

If you don't know ignite, and in a few words, it is a really nice tool that permits to store system image of running HP-UX boxes and to restore them in case of a system crash or if you want to do some cloning.
