/var to small I want add more disk space

Hi I want add more disk space to the partition /var

I have other disk drive with free disk space.
How I do to increase the space in var with my available disk space.

Hi Williams,

Assuming that /var is an AdvFS file system, and the you have the AdvFS utilities license, you should be able to use "addvol" to add the extra disk to the existing domain.

# man addvol

# man disklabel

Check to see if you have any unused partitions on your disks
# disklabel -r dskX

You can also add those partitions to your AdvFS domain if you have.
