Hello,

Want to know whether vg00 gets activated when system is booted in maintenance mode.

Shalom,

Define maintence mode. This is a new run level in linux.

in single user mode, no volume groups do not get activated though you can activate them.

vg00 is btw not mandatory or default as the root volume group under Linux.

BTW, this seems like it might be an HP-UX thread. If so, say so, we'll move the thread to where it belongs and revise our answers.
