hi all, VHP-UX version B.11.31.
I have an issue on a new box while importing (VGIMPORT) LUNs from a lost machine.
problem shows only with version 2 VG,. version 1 imports fine. There are similar posts but no help on that.
vgimport -pv /dev/vgi01 /dev/disk/disk113 Beginning the import process on Volume Group "/dev/vgi01". vgimport: Unable to read the physical volume.
vgimport -pv /dev/vgi01 /dev/dsk/c70t2d0
Beginning the import process on Volume Group "/dev/vgi01".
vgimport: Unable to read the physical volume.
As the source machine is not available i can't use vgexport. for map file.
Any help is very appreciable.
