viewing who is the valid users to access the samba shares

Hi

My suse linux is part of DC.

How can i view that who are accessing shares. why i am asking this, since there is no "valid users" entry in my share configuration.

Ex:

[EMD]
path = /emd
comment = EMD Data
browseable = yes
create mask = 0644
directory mask = 0754
directory security mask = 07

So where we have to view that who are the users are having access rights to this share.

that is in linux or windows DC?

How to view in linux / windows Dc?

pls explain me.

Use the smbstatus command:

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-4-Manual/ref-guide/s1-samba-programs.html

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
