what is default format of patches

And if i m deleted kernel file in running system then what is happen ? it wil be crash or what

You seem to be asking two separate questions?

The P???_##### patches are shar files that contain .text which is a README and a .depot that is a SD depot that you can swinstall.

You deleted /stand/vmunix? Or some other file?
You may not see the problem until you reboot.
