what is the role of dhcp and samba server in linux

This is a very generic question. You have a world of information about these services.

You should do some research. Wikipedia will have detailed information about these services.

DHCP is for assigning IP address to client computers.

SAMBA is used for share folders and printers to Windows clients and access resources on Windows servers.

Hi Wahed

DHCP means Dynamic Host COnfiguration Protocol. By DHCP you can lease ip to the host automatically.
