write cashe hit ratio
Hello All,
we have been reported a problem that the server is slow - crawling.Upon investigating using top , patrol and such ..i saw "write cache hit ratio " went high ..what is this about? - i have no idea. Please explain and how can i fix it

Re: write cashe hit ratio
A high write cache hit ratio is a good thing, not a bad thing - it generally means that the filesystem buffer cache is doing its job well.
Does top not show anything else?
