could some one please let me know from where i can download xvfb to install on the hpux 11.23

It is part of X11.

Should be in /usr/bin/X11/Xvfb

i do not have x11 under /usr/bin.pls advice

You may have to install this Xserver.OEM-Server:
server:root /root # swlist -l file | grep -i xvfb
PHSS_35253.OEM-SERVER: /usr/bin/X11/Xvfb
Xserver.OEM-SERVER: /usr/bin/X11/Xvfb
