Terminating is strongly recommended. Do you want to terminate? [YES]
YES - because NO keeps complaining about incomplete sequences....
For a full log, see attachment.
I have downloaded it again but the problem keeps coming up.
What's wrong. Is it the PCSI? HP should post a new one!
(It really is the very firts time I ran into this problem....)

Re: AdvancedServer ECO 2 fails to install
I agree with Martin, your PCSI database may be corrupted.
See here to recovery PCSI database:

Re: AdvancedServer ECO 2 fails to install
It's not the PCSI-database that's corrupt, it's the PCSI itself. Other installation go without a problem. But thanks anyway: to revover a PCSI database is a LOT of work, si I prefer to restore it from backup than ;-)

Re: AdvancedServer ECO 2 fails to install
Sorry to hear of your troubles; try grabbing this copy of the
Advanced Server for OpenVMS v7.3A ECO2 kit:
$ ftp xfer.support.compaq.com
logon: anonymous
password:
Note: you won't be able to list files here
ftp> cd to_customer
ftp> bin
ftp> get IONETAXP-AS73AE2.AXP
ftp> quit
$ run ionetaxp-as73ae2.axp ! To create psci file
The above kit/location are maintained by the IONET team which supports the Advanced Server product in the States...
I'll try to get the "official" kit found here replaced (but I have no control of it).

Re: AdvancedServer ECO 2 fails to install
Thanks a lot - but it doesn't work right now:
FTP> cd to_customer
250 CWD command successful.
FTP> get IONETAXP-AS73AE2.AXP
200 PORT command successful.
425 Can't build data connection: Connection timed out.
FTP>
in about 2 minutes...
Or is this passive mode - port 20 is closed on my firewall....

Re: AdvancedServer ECO 2 fails to install
I've picked up and tested the file from the ftp server for you. You can get it from
http://zinser.no-ip.info/fw/trans/
either as Zip of PCSI. Please post here once you got the file so I can remove it again.
Greetings, Martin
