Issue copying boot disk from HSJ storage to MSA

I have done this with other systems flawlessly but not sure why this most recent system I attempted to copy.

The backup/restore from the HSJ to the MSA went error free(Did it while booted from the OpenVMS Alpha 8.4 disk so that the drives werent being used) configured the wwidmgr so that it could see the msa drives from the P00>> prompt and it recognizes it's a valid boot block and started to boot but right after it displays the OS banner it drops into bugcheck because of an I/O inconsistency

There's not much to go on here.  Can you post some info about the configuration?  Perhaps a screenshot of the Alpha SRM's view of the hardware.  Include the bootdef_dev and flags.  Can you boot the HSJ and see the other disk?  Perhaps try to munt the MSA disk locally and perform a writeboot as a test?  This should just rewrite the bootblock and verify proper connectivty to the drive beyond the mount without disturbig the contents.

We should be able to provide additional guidance with this additional info.
