SSH issues from Red Hat box to OpenVMS
OpenVMS(Running TCPWare) can ssh to Linux box instantly
Red Hat box to OpenVMS box it stalls at debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT sent for a long time
I was thinking maybe it was DNS but I can forward and reverse lookup both hosts on both hosts.
I don't believe it has something to do w/ MTU because this doesn't happen on all of my boxes(ones right next to each other can SSH just fine...
Maybe an SSH Key issue but not sure how to generate a new key on TCPWare.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I know approximately nothing about TCPWare, but if I did know
anything, then I'd want to know which version of TCPWare, on which
version of VMS, on which hardware architecture. (What's the TCPWare
equivalent of "tcpip show version"?)

I'd also want an actual transcript showing more (that is, some)
context, and some clue as to the SSH software version. Is there more
than one version of Red Hat? How long is "a long time" in this case?

A transcript showing actual commands with their actual output would
be more convincing than your assurance that you did the right thing(s).

Too vague for me. Can any other system SSH into this VMS system
successfully? Can that Red Hat system SSH into any other system
successfully? (Same user?)

You can probably find/read the manual at least as fast as I could.
Anything in anyone's log file(s)?

Still true?
