Adding a server in SIM
Now I want to add a server to monitor.
I can not figure out how to add this server.
Can you please help me with that?

If you are discovering many servers you can select Options - Discovery - Automatic Discovery and input an IP address range to be discovered such as 172.31.112.1-172.31.113.254 OR you can just enter several individual specific IP addresses, not necessarily in a range, to be discovered.

Hi guys, I am new to HP SIM.
Just installed latest HP SIM on OEL and I don't see Options - Discovery - Manual Discovery from the web page...
any help would be greatly appreciated!

ass well, when running /opt/hp/vcrepository/etc/vcrepositoryconfig.sh
getting an error setup is incomplete, please check screen shot bellow:
[root@oel~]# /opt/hp/vcrepository/etc/vcrepositoryconfig.sh
Stopping HP Linux Version Control Repository Manager: [ OK ]
Warning: VCREPOSITORY has not been properly configured.
setup is incomplete!
Starting HP Linux Version Control Repository Manager: [ OK ]
