I've just completed an install of HP SIM, and I'm unable to come up with a username/password that will allow me to log into the GUI. Based on reading here, I'm using the "root" username and root's password, but it simply says "Sign-in Failure", with no further imformation.
What am I doing wrong, and what do I need to do?

Re: Can't log into fresh Systems Insight Manager install
So i guess you use a Linux distribution? You should be albe to use the credentials you installed the product with.

SolutionI do run linux.
I couldn't log in as an existing user.
But then one of my colleagues found this undocumented dependency and it cleared things right up.
