Re: Connecting SIM 7.5.1 to StoreOnce D2D devices
Thanks for your help.
I feel like i'm almost there, i've setup the trapsink on D2D device, using SNMP v1 i've set a straing of lets say TEST and HP Sim is set to read to Test on SNMP.
I've also downloaded the MIBs which look like they are a couple of years old (2014) but i followed the instruction to compile them etc, but when i check snmp trap settings, i can see SEMI-MIB.mib in the list, but when i select there no trap name, event type or the other fields.
Have i compiled them wrong? I did the following
C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\mibs>mcompile SEMI-MIB.mib
HP Systems Insight Manager Mib Compiler, Version 5.0.2.1
Copyright (c) 2003-2006 Hewlett Packard Corporation
Compiling SEMI-MIB.mib
Processing import file: SNMPv2-SMI.mib
Processing import file: SNMPv2-TC.mib
Processing import file: SNMPv2-CONF.mib
Mib Compilation completed successfully
C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\mibs>mxmib -a SEMI-MIB.cfg
IMPORTING CFG SEMI-MIB.cfg

Please delete the old MIB and then add the current MIB.
