Unable to clear the Integrated Management Log

I upgraded my client to the 7.1 PSP. And I can't clear the Integrated Management Log from previous alerts. I am logged in with administrator priveledges and SNMP sets are enabled.

Do you have a RW or RC SMNP string configured in the SNMP service?

We had the same issue on a server and it was resolved by upgrading the firmware of the Ilo. It was also impossible to clear the log using the GUI tool the HP tools.

Eric did you ever find a solution for this? I have the same problem and I do not have any iLO card.

Check to make sure that the SNMP trap settings are correct. The community string needs to be read write or read create. If it is read only, it will not work. Otherwise, depending on what version you are on, i would recommend upgrading the PSP to the latest version. But FYI, when upgrading PSP's, there will be a brief 1 or 2 second outage when it upgrades the NIC drivers.

For security reasons we do not use the RW or RC for SNMP.  Youcan go into the iLO and clear the Integrated Log as well as the iLO Log.
