Backup Exec
Will not recognize drive, BE8 see's all the slots correctly, but will not load media, hangs in pending. For some reason it shows the internal drive as unknown. Suggestions? I have been all through Compaqs Site.

Re: Backup Exec
Your Serial # actually indicates an option part # for a DLT library, 15 cartridge, with a single 15/30 dlt drive. Backup exec will load the driver for the DLT tape drive. There is an additional driver for the library robotics that comes from Veritas for Backup Exec. I believe you need this additional "auto loader" or library changer driver.
