QIC-80=Several problems
QIC-80/TC-15 HP Colorado Jumbo 250 Tape/Win98se/IE6/Pentium 1/1.25gb
It's in the device manager and both the drive and controller are operating properly. I have the latest driver but it's always telling me it's not formatted. I backup...but then I get a error saying:"Error flushing the file directory to the media. File set directory corrupt (4618 120A) Operation Complete." Saving to HD first seems to deter this error but...
When I go to test restore, it says it can't find any jobs and to insert another media (?). I have several tapes...but it does this regardless.
This is critical as I have 2 years of artwork I need to backup.
Any help GREATLY appreciated. Thank you

Re: QIC-80=Several problems
Hmm...I didn't think I'd get much of a reaction out of here considering the backup is 8 years old.
