Token PIN for Encryption
I am trying to setup Encryption on my tape library. I have a MSL4048 tape library. When I go the Command View MSL and then to configuration -> security and then to help. At the help section I am told that I need to enter a token PIN to gain further access to security configuration options. My question is where can I locate the PIN? I don't remember seeing the PIN anywhere in the documentation when first setting up the library.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Token PIN for Encryption
There are two ways to use the built in encryption in the LTO tape drives:
1) The MSL encryption kit which is a USB device that generates and stores encryption keys securely and plugs into the back of the library. This is an accessory that is purchased separately and the PIN is the access code for the keys on that USB device.
2) Use an application that supports tape data encryption and can provide encryption keys during the backup session.
