2/20 as greatest MO disc autox

HP DLT Library 2/20 robo has been detected by SAM in HP-UX 11.0 as Optical disc autochanger, so it cannot be used as it should be. What should I do to adjust (or patch) it?

I think it's no problem that the kernel has claimed the schgr to your library.
You have to create manually a new device for the "picker":

cd /dev
mknod picker c 203 0xIIAA00
where II is the card instance
and AA is the SCSI address (e.g. 3 = 30).
This will install a device with the sctl driver which can be used for e.g. with the command mc.

Check for the patch PHCO_16576 or the newer one PHCO_21187

I have no problem with mc command using, but I can't use SAM Backup dialog because it shows DLT robotics as Optical disc autochanger as well as ioscan output, so it asks me to choose backup surfaces, 1a,1b etc. and, of course, shows error message if I do it.
PHCO_21187 made nothing to solve it. Maybe next SAM (or schgr?) patch will do it better.
