230 Firmware E3BR > E32D ?

230 Firmware E3BR > E32D ?

I have an Ultrium 230 that has been working fine for years and is to this day. It was an OEM unit. I have been using it with the MS SBS2K3 ntbackup.

Can I, should I, upgrade the firmware from its E3BR/OEM2 to E32D ?

E3BR_OEM2 is the firmware used in the LTO comming from the Tape Library 1/20, this have different FW that stand alone tapes that have E32D, you cannot exchange FW between personalities
