6/60 firmware upgrade using RMC
Has anybody sucessfully upgraded their 6/60 library using RMC (Remote Management Card)?
I have downloaded (or atleast I think I have) the firmware and I am trying to update it using the RMC. I browse to the location of the firmware file and then click 'Start Download'. The download status box pops up and says 'No Download in Progress'.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-Bryan

Re: 6/60 firmware upgrade using RMC
Hi,
Not the solution but you can try.
I have'nt tried using the RMC But i advise you to look for the option in stm.
Have you tried this from the control panel of the library.
I have successfully upgraded the firmware of
DLT drives in the library from the STM,
but not the library firmware.
Regards

Re: 6/60 firmware upgrade using RMC
Hi
There are two ways to do it...
one from stm and another from L & TT tool
- for both version there are different files availble to download the firmware of library....let me know if you interested in knowing the procedure for this.

Re: 6/60 firmware upgrade using RMC
Thanks for your responses, but I was specifically trying to do this via the RMC....basically because it says I can. I know I can do it from L&TT or STM, but I was just trying to get the RMC method working. I appreciate your responses. If I can not get the RMC method working I will go with one of the other options, which I am familiar with.
Thanks,
-Bryan
