I am having a problem getting this autoloader to work on an hp 9000 machine.I have tried 2 of these and the servers see's the tape drive but cannot read or write to them. These 2 autoloaders work fine connected to a compaq machine. Is there any firmware issues out there or does any one know any other issues out there on these autoloaders?
Your help is appreciated.

Re: AA926A
can you provide more details, what server is it connected to ? are you connecting it to the same scsi (what interface are you connecting it to ?),
when running ioscan, can you see the LTO drive and the robotic arm as claimed ?

Re: AA926A
you have connected it to the right port on the N4000, it is a LVD/SE.
make sure that the tape library is terminated.
Since you are trying to backup manually, I would make sure that there is a media in the drive.
I have some diag manuals but they are to large for this site
do you have an FTP site I can upload them there ?
or an E-mail address to send it to.
