Arcserve 2000 on NT 4 does not recognize the Library

Arcserve 2000 on an NT 4 Server machine does not find the tape library TL891. It does find the loader (CPQ DLT 35/70). Can anyone advise on this problem?

Have you installed the library to a compaq library adapter card ??
you will need this to connect to the TL891 as it is an HVD differential device.

Make sure to run the ntssd to instal cpqfs2.sys.
MAke sure library id is set to scsi id 1, drives to 2 and 3 respectivly.
you will see the the device on boot as id 1, 2 , 3

no tape driver should be loaded in tape devices.
install arcserve 2000 then library option, library will initilaize with the library wizard.
service pack arcserve2000.
