Attempt to move Cartridge in Physical Library failed
Hi,
I have a HP StorageWorks D2D2503i with a HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader attached to it by SCSI.
The D2D2503i have the 100.594 firmware and the Autoloader has the 2.70 Autoloader firmware and the D23W Drive Firmware.
When I get on the D2D2503i via the web browser and try to make a copy job on the autoloader attached to it, the job fails and I get the message "Attempt to move Cartridge in Physical Library failed" all the time. I tried putting the tape in the drive with the web interface of the Autoloader first, but then you can't choose the "drive" as a destination, you absolutely have to choose one of the slots that aren't in the drive, so it doesn't work. And if you try, it says that there is no drive available (since you already have a tape in the drive).
So what's wrong? What can I do?
Thanks for your help,
Mike

Re: Attempt to move Cartridge in Physical Library failed
Having the same issue. Looks like no one ever replied to your thread. Did you ever find a fix?
Thanks,
Sam
