BUG ?! - Calibration on Dat24 with HP L&TT 4.0 (SR1, SR2)

hi,

since i have L&TT 4.0 i can't calibrate my Dat24 drive... it always says --> the script competed execution...

with L&TT 3.5 SR1-4 i have'nt any problems to claibrate my drive... is there something new? or a bug in L&TT 4.0 ?!

Hi Chris,
for what I remember, the calibration procedure can be run only once on a specific unit, are you tring to recalibrate several time the same drive, or is this the first time you calibrate that drive?

hi,

this drive was never calibrated with HP L&TT.
if it was calibrated and someone try again to do this L&TT display a error message like --> unable to procede - this drive was currently calibrated.

i don't know the exactly error message.

it's not the first time i want to calibrate a drive. only L&TT 4.0 displays error messages. maybe you can test it @ your system?

if i want to calibrate a drive first i've to uninstall HP L&TT 4.0 and install the 3.5 SR4 version... after calibrating i have to uninstall version 3.5 and install version 4.0 ... that's not very funny :/

Hi Chris,

I was able to reproduce the issue you saw using a C1537A drive. We will get this corrected for our next LTT release (currently scheduled for June). If you need to run the calibration, please use 3.5 SR4 for now.
